Mikyla Smith

I was born in Lethbridge Alberta, which at that time was way smaller then it is now. I have memories of playing in parks, visiting a old lady across the street and growing up with my best friend Matthew playing super heros (I was always Cat Women). We ended up moving when I was either 3 or 4 I can’t really remember, I know it was after my little sister was born.

So thats how I ended up in little old Medicine Hat. This city, growing up definitely wasn’t my favorite, but as I grew up. I really started to get an appreciation for this city. I wanted to know more, I wanted to be involved with more things. After school I had an amazing group of friends that also had the same love and care for this city as I did. Which really is what pushed me to keep growing and doing more. I got into sales and marketing and fell in love with that world.

I got really good at sales and soon started getting job offers that kept getting greater and giving me even more oppurnities to learn. From selling WiFi to selling custom countertops I really loved it. Since then I am now a Vice President of Sale’s of an amazing direct mail marketing company. I have an amazing team I get to work with and I get to share my love and passion for sales with others.

Since starting this job it has also given me chances to keep doing what I love and contuining to make an impact, but I now also have the joy of running my own podcast and get to help people share their way of how they make an impact!

I am living proof to not give up on your dreams and that expirence can get you even farther then a degree. So remebmer: MAKE AN IMPACT, NOT JUST AN INCOME.
